There’s great news! Sally Kaminski wants to throw a big summer party on Oloko! And it’s happening already this week!!!

Party preparations are already in full swing, but Sally is so busy with the planning and her market so that she urgently needs help producing all the products. That’s why she is asking you dear Olokians to lend a hand, visit Sally Kaminski in Oldmill, and she will explain exactly how you can help. The party is set to begin this weekend, so you only have until Saturday to assist with the preparations. Of course, you’ll be rewarded for your efforts, too! ;)

Wow, Bill I rarely see you this happy when it comes to helping others. Usually, you’d rather just lie lazily in a hammock and watch everyone else...

That’s true—but hey, there’s always time for a party! Sometimes you just have to help to get an extra drink, hehe...

this week, we’re crowning the first winner of a cool Oloko costume and the Oloko Trophy! :) It’s… LPConan, who supplied Oloko with 409 Snow. Congratulations, and have fun as a turtle.

Taking 2nd and 3rd place are Yggdrasil with 233 Snow and Steffi with 199 Snow. Unfortunately, it wasn't quite enough for you—perhaps this week?

For this week, the Oloko team has decided to make the following change to the group competition:

Until now, points awarded when you handed in an item were calculated just as they were in the original version of Oloko.

Some players and the Oloko team felt this system was somewhat unfair; for instance, you can plant chilies as often as you like (provided, of course, that you have the necessary items), whereas only two fruit juices can be produced at a time because there are only two frogs on Oloko. Herbs are also more difficult to produce than chilies, so the original value of 12 points for chilies was unfair to the other groups. Consequently, the team consulted with some players and decided to adjust the point values ​​starting this week as follows:

Chili 2 Points

Herbs 6 Points

Fruitjuice 8 Points

We hope this makes the competition fairer, so that all groups have an equally good chance.
